Did You Ever Wonder How to Publish a Book? David Choat is a sales management professional with over 25 years of professional experience. He has held positions with highly respected companies such as Coker Tire, Lowes, Siskin Steel, and currently the largest tire distributor in North America. He is a self-proclaimed Health & Fitness enthusiast and Sunday School Director for his church. David and his family live in the small town of Etowah, Tennessee, nestled at the foot of the Appalachian Mountains.
Lucas is the Director of Business Intelligence for the University of Tennessee Foundation, where he oversees the data management and analytics strategy for the Foundation. In this role, he is responsible for building predictive models to identify major gift prospects, annual fund donors, and engaged alumni. He oversees fundraising reporting and forecasting numbers, including the implementation of dashboards to better visualize the data, and he also manages many of the processes involved with acquiring and cleaning data obtained about alumni and donors from both internal and external sources.
Prior to moving into this position in September 2016, Lucas worked as a development officer for the UT Athletics Department for seven years. During this time, he served in several roles, including as the coordinator of the grassroots volunteer fundraiser network, a major gift officer, and the director the department’s $31 million annual fund.
Since the fall of 2015, Lucas has been taking part-time Master’s of Business Analytics classes through the University of Tennessee Knoxville Haslam College of Business and will graduate this upcoming May. He also holds an MBA from the University of Tennessee, and a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Tennessee Tech University.
Digital Marketing in the Franchise Industry: Chad Jordan has worked in the multi-unit and franchise industry for the past decade. He oversaw the launch and growth of a restaurant concept in California and introduced it internationally. He is currently the Director of Marketing for Digital Services at Sport Clips Haircuts leading initiatives across 1700+ websites, social media pages and more. Educating franchisees on the tools available to them is critical for success.
